Yacht Spot › Elisa (formerly Mystic)

The Elisa, was built by Christensen of Vancouver and launched in 2003 under the name Mystic. After travelling all over the World, it was sold, renamed as Elisa, and returned to the Mediterranean.

She arrived in Symi today, anchoring in Harani, and stayed the night.

45.7 metres long, she can travel 4000 nautical miles without a re-fuel at a maximum speed of 19 knots, powered by her twin 1820 horse-power diesel engines. She has a crew of seven and can accommodate 12 guests. At a fuel-consumption of 10 litres per nautical mile, the Environmental Footprint is an issue best forgotten when Elisa is taken out for a cruise.

The Elisa was, at the time of sale, one of less than five yachts in the World to have a live coral reef onboard, in a 200-gallon tank housed inside a cherrywood cabinet. The reef must be kept at a constant temperature of 76 degrees Fahrenheit and requires plenty of special care and attention.

The accommodation onboard is quite luxurious with a large walk-in wardrobe in the main suite.

With five guestrooms, four crew rooms and mess quarters, a large galley, and control room, Elisa is deceptively large for a sub-50m yacht.

The exterior accommodation and "toys" are also rather good!

All at SymiGreece.com hope that those onboard the Elisa had a great time on Symi. Please come again!
