The third FAROS vet clinic opens at 10 o'clock on Friday morning and for the next three days, Symi's animals can recieve the attention (free of charge, of course) of Lena and Evgenia, two of the finest vets from the Department of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Thessaloniki. Lena, is one of the four vets from the second FAROS clinic in August and together with Evgenia arrive on Symi on Friday morning and will be coming to the clinic straight from the boat.
As always the clinic is very well-equipped, with no compromising on the standards of hygiene and care that the University offers. With the delivery of another oxygen cylinder yesterday (as the first one is running low) and today's delivery of consumables, anaesthetics, antibiotics, vaccines, and blood tests, everything is now ready at the clinic and we are looking forward to the first patient in the morning.
As before, we will do our best to keep everyone informed with how the clinic goes and there will be daily updates on SymiGreece.com with lots and lots of photos!
