I'm not a natural writer, and as you'll soon discover, my spelling and grammar are pretty bad. But thought I could maybe put a bit of text and an image up once in a while. There's been a huge buzz around Symi about what was going to happen today. So now all is revealed. I think it's great! The idea that individuals from not only Symi, but anyone that has ever been here can put opinions, pictures, stories, blogs up on their own page is something I think Symi has been crying out for.

So....the picture below was taken today from our balcony. As you can tell we're someway up. In the distance is Turkey, and the houses below are the harbour. Weather is really nice today! Hot, but a breeze, so you never really break into a sweat. It was too hot a couple of weeks ago. I know that sounds stupid, and if you've been having lots of grey rainy days, not what you want to hear. But it really was too much...honest. Now is excellent, and the sea has warmed up enough for nothing to shrivel up!
