Yesterday we had a great day in Marathounda. Not often do we get to go to the other side of the Island, so it was a real treat. We usually go somewhere a bit closer, and within walking distance, and even that depends on how sore our heads are from the Saturday night before.

Not really swam much at Marathounda, but we did yesterday. We were told that there is an underwater spring, which makes it a little colder to swim there than other places. Well, it was great and not cold at all! Love the taverna there too. It was very busy with locals which is always a good sign. We had to wait 20 minutes or so for a table, but once we were sat down we were very content. The food is brilliant!





We also love coming back to the harbour at around 5/6pm. The light is amazing, and the mountains always have that rich brown tint. The photo below is of the harbour yesterday at around that time. Nice and calm, and very colourful as usual. The other picture is of 'Pu' who I think didn't even notice we'd gone out.
